Graphic Studio Residency

Artist and children’s book illustrator Alan Clarke has been chosen by Fingal County Council and Children’s Books Ireland to undertake a fine art print residency at Graphic Studio Dublin. As part of an ongoing commitment to professional artists, this year the residency was offered to one emerging or established illustrator and/or picturebook maker.

This opportunity is part of a series of initiatives to promote the practice of illustrators and picture book makers in celebration of Niamh Sharkey’s term as Ireland’s second Laureate na nÓg. The month long residency will provide Alan with an ideal environment for the development of creative projects and an opportunity to network with other artists.
