An Urgent Enquiry Open Call

Wexford County Council, Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council, with UK based art and environmental organisation, Invisible Dust are delighted to announce three significant artist residency opportunities located in Wexford, Fingal and Dublin and a follow on residency in the UK.

Artists are invited to submit a proposal for one of these three site specific residencies along Ireland’s east coast, from the peninsula of Portrane in Fingal, to North Bull Island part of the UNESCO designated Dublin Bay Biosphere, to the South Wexford Coastline.

The three month residencies will run from 1 May – 31 July 2019. The outcome of each residency will result in new works/public manifestations in autumn 2019. Each residency is valued at €20,000.

These residency opportunities will include collaboration with UK commissioning agency Invisible Dust, who will select one of the artists for an additional UK based residency in April 2020, valued at €10,000.

Closing date for receipt of submissions: Thursday 21 February, 2019 at 5pm.
