Join us today - Thursday 30th for a lively singing workshop with musicians Donal Kearney & Michael Dawson of Fingal Academy of Music, as they present music for families and young audiences as part of Let’s Stay Together, a new initiative of Fingal Arts Office which aims to connect artists and communities during Covid 19. Michael T. Dawson is a conductor, composer and Fulbright scholar and co-founder of Fingal Academy of Music and the Irish Institute of Music & Song. He is an award-winning conductor at international level. He has toured extensively and is regularly invited abroad to provide masterclasses and adjudication at Universities and Festivals. He is set to graduate this summer with a Doctorate degree in Music from the University of Southern California. He is Artistic Director of Fingal International Festival of Voices.
Donal Kearney is co-founder of Fingal Academy of Music and the Irish Institute of Music & Song. He is Tenor Coach with the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland and is a certified Community Music Leader with international humanitarian organisation Musicians Without Borders. Dónal has toured 15 countries in 3 continents as a performer and educator, has recorded vocals for Nintendo and Blizzard, and currently plays with folk trio TRÚ.
